Where

We’re situtated in the beautiful south Pennines, mid-way between Manchester and Leeds, close to the major creative hubs of the North of England. According to Google Maps we’re slap-bang in the centre of Great Britain, ideally based to work anywhere across the country.

Our location provides plenty of inspiration and reference, whether it’s from the landscape, the history or the economic diversity of the region.

Who

The company was founded by Joby Catto in 2005. Joby’s a creative to the core; using Macs since 1990; more than fifteen years of professional design industry experience; over a decade working with computer generated 3D design and visualisation techniques. He’s also at the forefront of new digital imaging techniques, has specialised in panoramic and high dynamic range photography since 2004, and is a member of the International VR Photographer’s Association.

He’s produced photographic, virtual reality (VR) and digital content for a broad range of online planning, education and visualisation solutions. Core experience stems from work within the retail, event & exhibition, design & marketing, and food & hospitality sectors. Recent commissions have included Visit Manchester, Life Technologies, MediaCityUK, Booths, Manchester International Festival, the British Library, Manchester Craft and Design Centre, Northern Restaurant and Bar Show, Bolton Octagon, Band on the Wall, the British Army and Selby College. Anti Limited was also commissioned to create 360° content for the 2010 iPhone & iPad POS application, OakleyView.

Joby founded and led the specialist VR team for one of the UK’s largest shopper marketing agencies, helping them to deliver innovative solutions for brands and retailers including Boots, Disney, Asda WalMart, GlaxoSmithKline, L’Oreal, Thorntons, Argos, Homebase, PC World and Sky. These were deployed on multiple platforms – desktop, iOS and offline –  as well as in two dedicated immersive life-sized walk-in ‘Virtual Labs’ in Leeds and London. Core content included fly-through 3D animations, immersive video & panoramic 360° photography, and Unity3D-based gaming applications. Now he’s bringing that professional experience and knowledge to a broader range of markets.

When he’s not making complex, clever content to make client’s lives easier, Joby can be probably found enjoying the great outdoors, indulging in his passion for good food and cooking, feeding his inner geek by keeping abreast of the latest technological innovations, or continuing his never-ending quest for musical fulfilment.
